A note from the artist:

I prefer to produce work that is metaphorical in nature, I hope encouraging the viewer to explore what poets call “the great thoughts”. I realize the foolishness of leaping a horse off a steep hill at nighttime. That is not the point of this piece. Rather, I am attempting to portray the foolishness of our tendencies to doing nothing, of making no choices. Life is a hard ride, no matter the time of day, to do or not to do pays no attention to the amount of sunlight illuminating our existence. There comes a point when one must choose to jump or not, to maintain our humanity.
