About this artist
Jerry Jordan was born in 1944, and raised in a small town outside of Lubbock,Texas. In his teens, and after repeated requests for instruction from Paris, Texas, artist W. R. Thrasher, he was grudgingly allowed to study with him in the summers of 1961 and 1962. Since the mid-sixties he and his wife have settled and resettled in the Taos area hoping to realize his dream as an artist. In 1985, they tried again and Jerry had a chance to study with Taos painters, Ron Goebel and Ray Vinella. Since then, Jordan has established his own successful career.
