BRIAN TAAFEE

About this artist

Brain Taaffe is a multidisciplinary artist from the Red Willow People of Taos Pueblo. Growing up, he split his time between Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Having learned at a young age how to create art in both 2D and 3D mediums he continues to pursue these art forms today. Currently, Taaffe attends the Institute of American Indian Arts and has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in painting and printmaking.

Taaffe was part of a couple notable exhibitions during 2023, he was a selected artist for the Sovereign Santa Fe Show: during the 2023 Indian Market as well as being one of three artists to be part of the exhibition, Clay Line of the Red Willow People: showcasing three Taos Pueblo Artists at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Taaffe plans on furthering his studies through Higher Education in pursuit of a masters degree.
